Something creepy is afoot…
Paramount Pictures has released a second full trailer for the Martin Scorsese-directed thriller Shutter Island, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson and Max von Sydow.
Insiders tell us Scorsese is working hard and putting the finishing touches on what we’re told is akin to his take on Cape Fear in tone. The film was recently bumped to a February 19 slot and we’re told the reason is because Scorsese was not satisfied with what he had and needed more time to tinker in post-production.
Shutter Island is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.
