Rosenthal, Gifford and Howarth on the ’81 sequel
On Saturday, August 15, ShockTillYouDrop.com and Phil Blankenship of the New Beverly Cinema presented a brand new print of the 1981 sequel Halloween II. Michael Myers fans packed the house, making the screening a sold-out event (apologies to those who couldn’t get in)! In addition to Universal’s gorgeous presentation, we were fortunate enough to have director Rick Rosenthal, composer Alan Howarth and Gloria Gifford (“Mrs. Alves”) down for a pre-screening Q&A. Below, you’ll find our chat in four parts. Sadly, as Rosenthal told the audience, he is unsure if Universal is prepping a Blu-Ray edition of his film.
