Adam Scott (Knocked Up) is the next in line to join the cast of Piranha 3D. According to Variety, he’ll play a U.S. Geological Service who helps discover the piranha outbreak. Said outbreak occurs in Arizona’s Lake Havasu. The actor will join previously cast Elisabeth Shue.
Over the weekend, ShockTillYouDrop.com got talking with actress Janet Montgomery who informed us she was going in to meet with Piranha 3D director Alex Aja about the film. Montgomery will be seen this year in The Hills Run Red and Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead.
The remake of Joe Dante’s cult classic is shooting next month. It will swim into theaters on March 19, 2010.
