Starring Crispin Glover
Roughly three years ago, this writer sat in a Los Angeles screening room and watch Crispin Glover play twin brothers and hurl pick-axes at teenagers. Sounds fun, right? Well, it wasn’t and I wasn’t surprised to hear Simon Says was having difficulties finding distribution. But it has. Over at Lionsgate Home Entertainment, to be more specific.
The horror film by director William Dear (Harry and the Hendersons) debuts on DVD on June 23rd. A director commentary will be included.
Simon Says follows a group of college kids into the backwoods where they targeted by Glover’s Simon and Stanley. Kelly Blatz (Prom Night), Blake Lively (Gossip Girl), Margo Harshman (Sorority Row), Greg Cipes (Killer Pad) and Carrie Finklea star.
