Monsters Attack Mouse House

Wanted producer overseeing adaptation

Disney, with Wanted producer Jason Netter, is aiming to adapt the graphic novel Monster Attack Network. Screen rights were acquired by publisher AIT/Planet Lar. An announcement initially came out of the San Diego Comic-Con.

In the book, penned by Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman, a South Pacific island is repeatedly attacked by giant beasts emerging from the sea. “[Netter’s] Kickstart Entertainment is handling it,” Bernardin is reported as saying during a Comic-Con panel. “They also did Hellboy and The Road to Perdition, so it’s in pretty good hands.”

Bernardin and Freeman are currently penning a comic book prequel to the upcoming Summit actioner Push.
