French thriller to play in Toronto
Toronto International Film Fest audiences get to see Martyrs next month – it’s an official selection of the Midnight Madness program. Those who can’t attend…stew in your jealousy and dig into the official trailer for Pascal Laugier’s gripping and unrelenting film. (And while you’re at it, check out our interview with Laugier!) It opens overseas September 3rd; the Weinsteins control American distribution, so there’s no telling when they’ll release it here.
