From your friends at MTV
MTV is working with executive producer Lou Adler to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1975 cult classic that still plays midnight shows in theaters. No cast has been named and no director has been set, however, MTV intends to use Jim Sharman and Richard O’Brien’s original screenplay. New songs may be added by O’Brien. Adler hopes to have it on the air by Halloween 2009.
