Jay and Silent But Deadly

Clerks slacker in slasher

Jason Mewes continues to carve out a little horror niche in his career with Silent But Deadly, a horror-comedy with a slasher edge that marks the feature debut of music video helmer Stephen Scott.

According to producer Michael Patrick, the film takes its cue from horror films of the ’70s and ’80s and concerns a killer who targets a Hollywood film set. Mewes, also seen in Feast, will play loner Thomas Capper.

Silent begins shooting next month in Chatham, Ontario for Michael Patrick Entertainment.
