Sam Rockwell’s stranded on a rock
Commerical helmer Duncan Jones (aka Zowie Bowie) has finished principal photography on the 2009 sci-fi thriller Moon. There’s little to glean from the plot synopsis other than it concerns a space traveler stranded on a moon base, “lonely but not alone”, Sam Rockwell stars in the lead role. The film is the first produced screenplay for writer Nathan Parker and Jones’ feature debut. Independent is handling international sales.
