Kept, torture flick financed
A pair of horror-thrillers, budgeted at $5 million, from Twisted Pictures will now move forward thanks to a recent financing partnership with LightTower Entertainment.
Kept, directed by Bill Eagles and penned by Jason Rothwell, is one project, the other is an untitled viglante flick (formerly called Tortured) by writer Marek Posival and director Rob Lieberman.
Producer Mark Burg told us last June it was likely the “Tortured” moniker would change to avoid confusion with a similarly-titled flick.
Burg, Oren Koules and Carl Mazzocone will produce the two films, while LightTower’s Curtis Leopardo and Jonathan Zucker will exec produce.
