White Noise Helmer Embraces Black Death

Heady, Bean set to star



Director Geoff Sax (White Noise) is trippin’ back to the Dark Ages for Black Death, a medieval supernatural thriller.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lena Heady (“Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Sean Bean (The Hitcher) and Rupert Friend (The Last Legion) recently joined the cast. Friend and Bean play a monk and mercenary priest, respectively, searching for a necromancer in a village where the dead are coming back to life. Heady will play the village ruler.

“Death” was penned by Dario Poloni for Ecosse Films. His first produced screenplay was Michael Bassett’s survival horror film Wilderness.

Shooting will take place shortly in the UK and in Germany.
