Reeves’ monster a record-breaker
Update: The final tallies are in…Cloverfield grossed $41 million during its opening weekend.
According to Box Office Mojo, Cloverfield – that monster movie generating all the buzz – has taken in $16 million at the box office on Friday. One can easily predict at this point the film will break a few records. One can presume also (wouldn’t take a rocket scientist) sequel talks are the first thing on Paramount’s agenda when the suits return to work after the Martin Luther King weekend. We’ll update you with the final three-day estimates when they come in.
