Halloween ’08: Twisted vs. Twisted?
A CBS affiliate out of Sacramento, California caught up to director Deon Taylor who is now shooting Twisted Pictures’ Chain Letter in the area. Reporter Mark Allen spoke to Taylor on the set and you can find his four-minute news package here.
The piece gives you a first look at the set, a description of one of the many murder sequences involving a chain and some soggy footage at video village. Taylor comments on bringing Hollywood to the Sacremento area and says the killer in his film falls in line with the intellectual motivations of Jigsaw. He also adds the film will be arriving in theaters on Halloween 2008. This would put it up against Twisted Pictures other October offering: Saw V!
In Chain Letter, a maniac targets a group of teens when they fail to forward chain mail. Nikki Reed, Noah Segan, Keith David, Betsy Russell and Michael Bailey Smith star.
