Get inside the mind of a serial killer
The vérité approach to horror appears to be en vogue these days. The latest to employ this style is The Poughkeepsie Tapes, John Dowdle’s cobbled together footage of a fictional serial killer’s screwy home movies. MGM picked the film up shortly after its run at the Tribeca Film Festival and plan to give it a spring release – view the trailer here.
Dowdle is now at work on Quarantined, a remake of the Spanish horror movie Rec.
