Hurray! Billboard starts a rumor!
From a recently article regarding Rob Zombie over at Billboard:
He’s also been linked to a remake of “C.H.U.D.” for 2009 but would not confirm what his next film project will be.
You can read the full article here which speaks of a companion DVD to Zombie’s recently released live ablum and the animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto…but like you, we’re all thinking about that C.H.U.D. remake.
Now, we like to think we’re embedded deep in this horror biz but this is the first time we’ve ever heard Zombie was “linked” to a C.H.U.D. remake. Billboard doesn’t cite where they gleaned their intel from nor do they have an actual reactionary quote from Zombie commenting on the prospect. We smell bullshit, so before you get your knickers in a bunch, take this all with a grain of salt.
