See The Mist Early!

And meet the cast and crew of the latest King horror film

The prestigious American Cinematheque in Los Angeles is granting you a chance to see Stephen King’s The Mist a few days before it floods theaters nationwide on November 21st.

Frank Darabont’s adaptation, starring Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden and Laurie Holden, is set to play at the Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Boulevard) on Monday, November 19th. A cast and crew Q&A will follow (the lineup will be announced soon). For more ticket info and information visit EgyptianTheatre.com.

Based on King’s short tale that first appeared in the “Skeleton Crew” collection, the story concerns artist David Drayton and a small town community who come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the ‘The Arrowhead Project’ conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group’s overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see!
