Supernatural thriller featuring another creepy kid
ContentFilm Intl. has picked up worldwide rights to supernatural thriller The Daisy Chain starring British actress Samantha Morton (Minority Report). Aisling Walsh is directing based on a script by Lauren MacKenzie.
Morton plays a grieving mother who moves to a remote Irish village with her husband, played by Steven Mackintosh, following the death of their baby daughter. The couple take in a disturbed and orphaned autistic girl called Daisy, only for a series of strange occurrences to start taking place linked to the girl.
Lensing is set to start Oct. 29.
Subotica Entertainment’s Tristan Orpen Lynch and Dominic Wright will produce the U.K./Irish co-production.
