Set to play Talbot’s pop
Hannibal Lecter actor Anthony Hopkins is definitely going to play Sir John Talbot in Mark Romanek’s remake of The Wolfman. Confirmation arrived during an interview conducted with Hopkins concerning his new feature Slipstream. Hopkins first leaked the news of his involvement earlier this year saying he was mulling over the possibility of play the father to Benicio del Toro’s Larry Talbot. Shooting begins this January and the redo is expected to hit theaters February 13, 2009.
