Dying Breed Finds Whannell

Australian production now shooting

“Saw” co-creator Leigh Whannell continues to explore his acting chops in Dying Breed, a new production now lensing in Australia.

He plays one fraction of a curious quartet who run across a cannibal tribe while doing field research on a Tasmanian tiger. Wolf Creek‘s Nick Phillips, Melanie Valejo, Mirrah Foulkes (Spider) co-star as possible tasty treats for said cannibals.

Shooting is taking place in Tasmania, introducing audiences to a side of Australia rarely photographed on film. Jody Dwyer directs.
