Two Sisters Nabs Slither Babe

Director(s) and writer cofirmed

“Slither” beauty Elizabeth Banks is returning to horror in Dreamworks’ A Tale of Two Sisters remake.

The American update is based on Kim Jee-Woon’s highly-acclaimed 2003 Korean film.

In a tonal turn for the actress, who can also be seen in all three “Spider-Man” films, she’ll play a “cruel” mother whose neurotic nature prevents the proper recovery of her twin stepdaughters, fresh out of a mental institution. Her behavior is compounded by an intrusive ghost further mucking things up.

As reported here, shooting begins in July. And, according to THR, Thomas and Charles Guard are still in line to direct from a script by Craig Rosenberg. More casting news as it develops!
