Young’s cannibal film lookin’ sharp
Three years from now, the world’s gas will be depleted, society as we know it crumbles and the world is full of Ravagers and Foragers. That’s the premise of Mark Young’s Tooth and Nail which wrapped last year and seemingly puts a familiar spin, intentional or not, on the cohabitation between the Eloi and the Morlocks in H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine.
You’ve got the Foragers, led by Rider Strong (Cabin Fever), young survivors getting by in an abandoned Philadelphia hospital who are looking to rebuild society. On the flipside, there are the Ravagers, cannibals who make meals out of the Foragers. Leading this brutal clan is Sin City‘s Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. Robert Carradine (Ghosts of Mars), Rachel Miner (Penny Dreadful), Emily Young and Michael Young (Dawn of the Dead ’04) also star.
