Creates Moonlight for CBS
An “Angel” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum is exploring bloodsucker lore once again in “Moonlight.”
David Greenwalt, who penned a number of episodes of “The X-Files” and “Buffy” before creating the spin-off series “Angel,” is acting showrunner on the series which will following an undead private investigator, his former bride (also vampy) and a “deceitful” pal (again, a vampire).
The private dick’s life is “turned upside down” when he falls for a mortal gal. Greenwalt is definitely treading familiar territory…
Show was picked up on a presentation from Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures TV. A full-length pilot is now being cast.
