Remake now at Fox Atomic
Moviehole reports Amy Holden Jones – whose career ranges from directing Slumber Party Massacre to penning Mystic Pizza – is now writing The Entity remake for…Fox Atomic (that’s a new revelation, too, originally it was just at Fox).
Shock had heard the script, which is a directing vehicle for Ringu‘s Hideo Nakata, needed “a lot of work,” says one source.
The original film saw Barbara Hershey playing a mom repeatedly victimized (er, raped) by a malevolent ghost. Touchy material.
