Thriller written by Zodiac scribe Vanderbilt
U.S. producer-distributor Mandate Pictures has signed Eva Mendes (Ghost Rider) to star in Curve, a thriller from producer Neal Moritz’s Original Film and Benderspink.
Written by Jamie Vanderbilt (Zodiac), the film is being produced by Moritz and Original’s Toby Jaffe alongside Benderspink’s Chris Bender and JC Spink. Mendes and producing partner George Augusto will executive produce with Benderspink’s Mason Novick.
The story centers on a woman’s struggle to survive when she finds herself at the mercy of a psychopathic killer after taking a detour into the backwoods of a remote area just outside of New York.
