Bruce Tries His Luck in Vegas

Campbell horror-comedy enters film fest

Elvis is returning to Vegas. The Bruce Campbell-directed My Name is Bruce has entered the city of sin’s CineVegas Film Festival.

The event runs from June 6th through the 16th at the Brenden Theaters at the Palms Casino Resort. “Bruce” has scored an 11pm screening on Saturday, June 9th. Tickets go on sale May 25th. This is the Chin’s second time at the fest after Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep made its premiere a few years back.

Tagged by CineVegas’ site as “a work in progress,” Campbell’s sophomore effort in the director’s chair (behind Man With the Screaming Brain) finds the “Evil Dead” star playing himself as he is kidnapped by a bunch of punks who need the actor to save their small town from the Chinese God of War.
