Put this at the top of our must-see list.
Last night this writer got to speaking with a Hollywood mover and shaker who asked if I had seen a French film called Inside. I told him I hadn’t. “It’s pretty f**ked up,” was his response followed by a grotesque account of some of what he had seen. The film had come across our radar once before and today, coincidentally, Twitch Film has posted a trailer for Inside here.
From filmmakers Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, Inside focuses on a pregnant woman fighting to save her unborn child from another gal willing to go to great lengths to obtain what she has “inside.” Yowza! Béatrice Dalle and Alysson Paradis play the battling bloody babes.
The Weinstein Company has already picked it up for US distribution and a premiere is set for May 24th at the Cannes Film Festival. Click here for the film’s MySpace page.
