EXCL: Fueling Up for Another Massacre

Platinum Dunes, New Line love the saw

It’s still too early to say this is a “go” project, but Shock has learned Platinum Dunes and New Line are seriously flirting with a third Texas Chainsaw Massacre film.

Details are slim, however, we’ve discovered that in spite of reports last fall (during the release of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) that there were no plans for another chapter, the blood tides have turned in favor of a third film in the new series which kicked off to a profitable start in 2003.

After doing some digging, we’ve heard a few puzzle pieces need to fall into place before the film is official and story pitches can be taken. Keep your eye peeled to Shock for more and remember where you heard the news first!
