THINKFilm Heads to The Killing Floor

From Terror Train remake director

The Killing Floor, writer-director Gideon Raff’s directorial debut, has been snatched up for distribution through THINKFilm – the same company who introduced us to Murderball and The Aristrocrats. Their goal is to release the film direct-to-DVD in late 2008. We may, or may not, see Raff’s Terror Train remake by that time.

Marc Blucas (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Thr3e) stars in “Floor” as a literary agent who finds his ideal penthouse is a magnet for weirdness. His problems begin when he starts to receive crime scene pics that have been taken in his new digs…then the videos arrive: footage that reveals someone is following his every movie. Superhero film heavyweight Avi Arad (Spider-Man 3) executive produced the film with Doug Liman (Go, Mr. and Mrs. Smith).

The Killing Floor kicked up some acclaim as the “Best Thriller” at this year’s Malibu International Film Festival.
