And first word on season 1 box set!
Anchor Bay has offloaded a bunch of “Masters of Horror” Season 2 DVD street date details to Fangoria. Apparently, AB is going to slowly stretch out the release of the season well into September. According to Fango, you can look for Stuart Gordon’s “The Black Cat” (arguably the pick of the litter as far as both seasons of “MoH” are concerned) on July 17th. Then, Mick Garris’ “Valerie on the Stairs” and Tom Holland’s “We All Scream for Ice Cream” are expected on August 14th. Brad Anderson’s “Sounds Like” is due September 18th, the same day as Peter Medak’s “The Washingtonians.” For full DVD specs on “Valerie,” “Black Cat” and “Sounds Like” click the Fango link above.
Also, an ever-scooper who wishes to remain anonymous has informed Shock that work has begun on a “Masters of Horror” box set which is due this fall. No other details were provided other than the fact that the set will encompass solely season 1.
