Electronic Arts is hosting its annual E3 press conference on Saturday, June 9 at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET, their 12th press conference in a row at the annual event. EA joins the week-long gaming celebration by showcasing some of the world’s biggest, most entertaining blockbusters and revealing innovative original gaming properties. Titles expected to be shown off include Anthem, Battlefield V, Madden NFL 19, FIFA 19, NHL 19, and NBA Live 19. EA could also announce a new game from its indie games catalogue, similar to the announcement of A Way Out at last year’s EA PLAY. For EA Mobile, The Sims is getting a Seasons expansion which is launching on June 22 and could be shown off during the press conference.
AT EA PLAY, Anthem will receive a detailed look including a new trailer with a glimpse into the story, characters, and monsters that bring the game to life; more gameplay footage; a combat showcase where the power of the Javelin exosuit will be on full display as players take on the most ferocius enemies seen yet; developer insights where players can hear some of the guiding principles that have shaped the development of Anthem from the minds behind the game; and a look behind the curtain where some of the concept and production art of Anthem will be revealed.
