New gamescom Trailers Including Age of Empires IV and SNES Classic Edition

Gamescom is in full swing in Cologne, Germany and a whole host of new video game trailers have arrived from the trade show! You can watch the gamescom trailers below!

Age of Empires IV

“It’s time to battle through history once more in the latest entry of the landmark Age of Empires franchise,” the brief descriptor for the game reads. No further details on the RTS game have been announced, but the title arrives over 12 years after the last entry in the series.

Immortal Unchained

Immortal: Unchained is a hardcore action RPG set in a dark, sci-fi universe – a unique take on a well-known sub-genre, blending a third-person action shooter with a hardcore RPG. The game’s central character is unwillingly unchained and released by the warden. Given only the instruction that time is running out for the world and that your skills are now needed, you must set off with no memory of who you are or what you do, and find any information you can from the game and the characters you meet. However, the truth is not always clear as characters will always put their own agenda first, and discovering the truth is just as much a challenge as the gameplay and just as much of a reward.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition

Super NES Classic Edition system includes a Rewind feature that lets players rewind their gameplay to retry tricky sections, pick up missed items or simply run through an area again to see if anything was missed. The rewind time depends on the kind of game: Players can go back a few minutes in role-playing games such as Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, while action titles such as Super Mario World offer around 40 seconds, ideal for re-trying short segments of gameplay. The system also comes with optional frames that can be wrapped around the on-screen display for each game.
