Horizon Zero Dawn Update Adds Game+, Ultra Hard Difficulty

Ahead of the game’s upcoming DLC pack, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerilla have announced a long-awaited update to Horizon Zero Dawn with some fixes fans have been eager for and new additions.

First up is the addition of New Game+, allowing players to relive the adventures of Aloy without losing their character progression and collected inventory. The level 50 cap is still in effect, but XP can still be collected. Furthermore, updated versions of existing weapons and outfits with an extra modification slot have been added, but they won’t be cheap. New face paints for Aloy and two new trophies have also been added to the game.

Finally, the Ultra Hard difficulty setting has been added to the title, which will enhance machine senses and behavior and will limit player health regen and other additional smaller tweaks. Players who decide to embark on the Ultra Hard path will not have the option to switch it to a less difficult setting.

Horzon Zero Dawn‘s upcoming DLC, titled The Frozen Wilds, will further expand the game when it arrives adding a new story line, a new area to explore, and brand new machines to conquer. The game is available now as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. You can order your copy by clicking here.
