Sony Announces Over 40 Titles That Will be Optimized for PS4 Pro on Launch

Next Tuesday will see the release of the PS4 Pro from Sony, the upgraded version of the high-selling console. Sony has boosted the performance and capabiligy of the console with the PS4 Pro, allowing games to deliver graphics with far more detail and unprecedented visual precision in addition to 4K and HDR support. The company has now announced the list of titles that will be optimized for the console’s release. Some will need additional patches, while others have the support installed in the base game. The list includes:

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
  • Driveclub VR

  • inFAMOUS First Light
  • inFAMOUS Second Son
  • Knack

The list of optimized titles will continue to grow as well by the end of the year as support for Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy XV arrives along with the likes of Nioh, Resident Evil 7 biohazard and For Honor to follow in early 2017. In addition, all first party software launched in 2017 and beyond, including Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Gran Turismo Sport, will be optimized for PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro will be available on November 10, 2016, in Japan, North America and Europe at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 44,980 yen, US$399, €399 and £349.
