October 2016 free games for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold
Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of October 2016 free games that will available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the classic remastered horror game Resident Evil and the stylized action title Transformers: Devastation for PlayStation 4, the off road racing game Mad Riders and the adventure-sim From Dust for the PlayStation 3, and the action-adventure game Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ & the indie-adventure game Actual Sunlight for PS Vita. For the Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the stylized sports title Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings for the entire month of October and the prison break simulator The Escapists from October 16 – November 15. On the Xbox 360 (and Xbox One through Backward Compatibility), Xbox Live Gold members start the month with the post-apocalyptic thriller I Am Alive from October 1-15, and then follow that with some hardcore racing in MX vs ATV Reflex from October 16 – 31.
