Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of May 2016 free games that will available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the city builder and simulator Tropico 5 and the miniature racing game Table Top Racing: World Tour for PlayStation 4, the side scrolling platformer Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and the “interactive screensaver” LocoRoco Cocoreccho! for PlayStation 3, with the third person action game God of War: Ghost of Sparta available for PS Vita, and the fast-paced space racer Switch Galaxy Ultra for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the tower defense game Defense Grid 2 on Xbox One from May 1 to May 31 and the Halloween-themed RPG Costume Quest 2 from May 16 to June 15. On the Xbox 360 side of things (with Xbox One Backward Compatibility), players can download the racing game GRID 2 from May 1 to May 15 and the puzzle game Peggle from May 16 to May 31.
