Luke is cool, but Han is much more of a bad-A, so I go with him...He don't have to worry about that "dark side" jazz, he can just put a blaster bolt in you and be done with it!! :D

For me, I can't choose just one...tyler said he was the only Luke fan and no one has even voted for Vader. It's because it's so hard to narrow it down to one, cause after you vote you might think damn, I should've voted for THIS guy...I can't narrow it down from Yoda, Vader, Luke, and Han. Not to mention, Chewie, R2, Obi-Wan, Leia, Padme, 3PO....the list goes on...

I watched the credits at the press screening to just confirm that it was his voice.

Han was my favorite cause he was like the cowboy. His outstanding traits were being very cynical, and sarcastic, a popular feature among well loved American movie characters (James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause, Rick Blaine in Casablanca, Philip Marlowe, Rick Deckard, Allan Quatermain, etc) as it kind of embodies the very American ideal...

To me, Luke was just a whiny little brat ;)

Luke is getting whooped....ok, I voted for Han. But Luke does have his moments.....according to my cousin, when ROTJ first came out, the whole theater let out a cheer when he started to lay the smack down on the sail barge! And he has his moments in the books....esp. the NJO! One of my favorite scenes was his rescue of Jacen early on - it was very well written: he is just a shadow against the sunset....then 2 green blades appear in his hands. He starts walking to Jacen, using the blades and the Force to kill the gaurds along the way!

I thint it's that Han is ALWAYS cool, but Luke has cool moments!

Han is a great character, he brings something speacial to star wars. However, I'd have to go with Obi-Wan as my favorite character.

I think the Jedi and the Sith are the coolest characters. They have lightsabers, they have the Force, and they wear really cool cloaks with massive hoods. Just to go thru the list...

Obi-Wan - Good character in all the movies, but it's only in Attack of the Clones that he really takes a front seat and starts taking out the trash. He's my second favourite.

Qui-Gon - Yeah. The epitome of a Jedi Knight. Noble, commanding and heroic. Plus the coolest name. I voted for him.

Luke - Luke is a geek until Return of the Jedi. Then he gets his ass in gear and starts laying the smack down. I love his entrance into Jabba's palace.

Mace Windu - why is Mace bald? Jedi are supposed to be hairy. Mace would be cooler with dreadlocks and a beard. Plus a purple lightaber?! We all know what purple represents....fudge packing.

Yoda - Great in The Empire Strikes Back and RotJ. When he turned CGI and started flying around, he lost all his dignity.

Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine - thankfully Lucas hasn't used him much so far, and thus hasn't messed him up. Great villain. I love the way he sits there amongst the Jedi and the good guys whilst being their enemy.

Darth Maul - awesome henchman. Led to the best lightsaber battle so far.

Darth Tyrannus - another great villain. Completely the opposite of Maul. A gentleman, but an evil and deadly one.

Darth Vader - As long as Lucas doesn't embarass him in Episode III, a classic cinema villain.

Wow, Han really seems to be a fan favourite!

I voted for Chewie. I always liked him when I was a kid, just this big, hairy ogre who'll rip you in two if you beat him at chess.
I'm just pissed we won't get to see him in the prequels. Hopefully he'll make some sort of appearance in the 3rd movie.......

I can't believe only one other person really voted for Yoda. Green CGI midget aside, he was a great character, how many 900 year olds can you imagine, and yes, my own grandparents come to mind, where they beath their younger counterparts at something, and not rub their faces in it. He was the quintisential teacher, and poster child for brains over brawn. You can't get much better than that.
