Like Stephanie setting herself up by saying "You know, Jericho, you will never win the big one!" So Jerico can shoot back "Well Steph, if anyone knows about "big ones" it would be you!" :D :D :D :D :D

The WWF is getting more entertaining, with less "sports!"
I think the highlight for me last night was the Rock & Jericho's verbal assaults on each other...with the phrase "punk-a** b****" being used quite liberally!
The main event last night was Austin & Rock - not a match, but a SINGING DUET!!! But after they wowed the crowd with song, the Rock said: "One more thing...the Rock will NEVER forget!" And he planted Austin with the Rock bottom! Whatsupwitdat?! :D
Oh yeah...Mick Foley announced that the Tag Team titles (WCW & WWF) and the Intercontinental & US Championships would be consolodated at the next PPV. This kind of worries me. I figured that one would lose, and then "miraculously" find a way to get back on the air, separately (WCW & ECW on one show, WWF on thier own show) but it now looks like all the Federations may stay under one roof......

I missed Raw on Monday, and wish my cousin had too. Predictions for Venegance?
Well I'm sure HHH will make his return in the main event.
The Rock vs. Y2J -- I'll go out on a limb and say Y2J.
Angle vs. Austin -- Hmm... I'll say Angle.
Angle vs. Y2J --- Angle.
The Royal Rumble is next, so The Rock or Austin will win that and then its theres another pay per view and then Wrestlemania. Angle will lose the WWF title in Feb. Just a theory.
Edge vs. Regal -- Edge
Kane & Show vs. Dudley Boyz -- Kane & Show

I thought he'd show. Maybe tomorrow.
:( Nah I had to see the results. I went online after 9:30 and read the results. All of them were up except the last match. So went back to CS! for maybe five minutes returned and saw that he won. I do have DirecTV so I could've saw but those SOBs at Directv won't get a contract signed.

Could someone explain Jazz to me? I mean, I know that she used to be in the ECW, but I'm wondering: if the WWF is trying to turn her into "The next Chyna"?(if you now what I'm saying)? Oh, not to be preachy, or anything, but IMHO, "fake" is not the correct term to describe wrestling. "Scripted", or "fixed", but, to quote DDP "oh, pro boxing isn't is it"? And as far as Triple H returning to the WWF is concerned, that's
all good, but what the WWF really needs is 3 words:BIG POPPA PUMP!!!

Is it me, or is there going to be a New World Order reunion within the next several months after Hunter Hearst-Helmsley returns?
I'm saying this because I read in various wrestling magazines that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall may be coming to the WWF right behind Triple H.
If that happens, look for Big Poppa Pump to follow suit. I would definitely like to see the following roster:
DeGeneration X/New World Order:
Triple H
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley
Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner
Dog-Face Gremlin, Rick Steiner
Kevin Nash
Scott Hall
X-Pac
Rhyno

Ya know, that would never EVER work. I mean, there's only one thing that can happen when you have 3-4 guys that can be World Title Contenders in one group, and that's fighting and breaking up. It did happen in the 1st nWo after all. The reason DX was so successful when it first started, was because it was basically a group of guys ont he same level having a bunch of fun. But when you have one guy that can be World Champion, and others who don't have a chance, it easily becomes "World Champion and his lackeys" much like the final incarnation of DX was.
As far as Nash goes, it seems pretty much final that he shoud be showing up anytime, probably at the Royal Rumble and hopefully screwing The Rock out of something.
As for Hall, I don't know. Last I heard of talks with Hall was a few months ago when he and Nash said they didn't want to work the 15 days a month that all the other headliners do so talks were cancelled. Although they have talked with Nash since, so who knows.
And the Stieners? Please no. The only reason Scott has gotten to where he is, is because of the bajillion steroids he's taken. If you ask me, he's too much of a loose cannon an if he screwed up once, he'd be gone. I mean, he has tried to go after a fan in the crowd for throwing something at him once. Granted, throwing something at a wrestler isn't exactly the best idea when you're in that business you have to expect that sort of thing, especially when ou're a heel like him.
As of right now, there's only three people I want to appear in the WWF. Kevin Nash, who seems like he will. Scott Hall, who has a pretty good chance and Sting, who I know never will but a guy can dream.

yeah, the weekend before the king showed up he even said they were no talks of him returning and he did. thats one thing i like about the wwf is they're pretty good at keeping surprises. everyone knew that would most likely flair would appear when he did but no one knew for sure. and when ddp showed up no one saw it coming. i figure nash is a lock but they're going to wait till around the rumble to bring him in. no need to blow their wad all at once with hhh coming back.
with the set of two different rosters and two different shows happening soon i think it would be a perfect time to bring back the nwo. that faction would be the only one that could appear on both shows. it would be awesome. the way i see it they should only have the nwo be members of the cliq. they should bring back hbk and have him be the leader and occiansol wrestler. hhh would be the champion and co leader of sorts. since shawn won't be wrestling him and hhh could co exist for quite awhile. nash and hall would be the tag team and x-pac would be the like ringo. happy to be there and picking up the beer for them :D
i'm just not sure if i see the wwf taking the risk on hall. but if they are interested in big poppa pump then he would make hall look like a choir boy. :D

Now, as far as Scott Hall is concerned, don't get me wrong, he's a great wrestler, but it seems that he's had so many problems in the past.(I think that he has had a drinking problem, but I'm not 100% sure). The WWF would probably see him more as a liability, rather than an asset.

HHH's return was good and all but I was still a little disappointed from the "teasing" that was the wet t-shirt contest. Why?
I wanna see Jerry the King Lawler whup some @$$!!!! Can anyone say "mixed tag team King & Trish vs. Jazz and ______ and the Rumble???" May not be entirely wishful thinking...Lawler wrestled the RTC at the last PPV before he quit...wishful thinking would be to see him wrestle on Raw or Smackdown! Anyone else remember his fued with Tazz, where Tazz knocked off JR's hat, and Lawler cleaned Tazz's clock???

Yeah, I know all that. Sting became a Born-Again Christian back in 98. It was after his US Title Match with Bret Hart at Halloween Havoc and he was out for a few months so he still wrestled about 2 years as a born-again christian, only it was in WCW, who's style wasn't quite as adult oriented as the WWF was and is right now, that's more of the reason he wouldn't come back. Besides, I don't think he cares for Vince all that much anyway, since they've talked before and Vince just wanted him for making fun of WCW, not his talent.
As for Scott Hall goes, I do still believe there's a chance for him to come back if Kevin Nash does. Since Hall has been wrestling in Japan there have been reports saying he has cleaned up his act. Plus, Jim Ross did confirm talks with Nash and Hall back in November.
As for HHH returning, that was the best moment on Raw not only last night but in a LONG time. It's just too bad the rest of the show wasn't that great.

I just had a funny thought: I think that at the Royal Rumble, Y2J is going to hold on to his title
as the Undisputed Champion. Jericho is going to get some assistance either near the end of the match, or in the middle of the match. And I've got
1, guess as to who's going to help him: CHRIS BENOIT!!! It's been rumored that he may make his return to the WWF by the time the Royal Rumble comes, but my guess is that he may return as a heel, now that Triple H is a babyface(for the time being, anyway)!!!

just finished watching raw on tape and it was an ok raw. seeing hhh back was great. i really missed that guy. its impressive how he's gotten so over without using any catch prases or any sort of gimmick really. he did it on pure athletic talent and killer promos. jericho is taking a simular approach and its working for him to.
funniest line of the nite was when angle was saying how he tears his quardicept all the time and its no big deal. hell he even tore it that morning and he still showed up. :D :D
it looks like nash is a done deal. he should be appearing around the rumble. one theory about him coming back i've heard that sounded pretty kool to me. was having nash come in and be jericho's bodygaurd. to protect him from hhh because jericho is kinda the one responsble for his injury. that way the face heal ratio stays in good shape. it makes it easier for nash to become a heel and jericho gets a bit of a rub from nash. and if it doesn't work out you can just have nash backstab jericho as if it was nash and hhh's plan all along.

I knew Angle was talking about The Wolverine. Too bad Chris' entrance will be different. He had one of the best. I think him and Jericho might have their feud again. Benoit will say to Jericho what happened to you? You turned against the fans and have become a... Y2J a former undisputed champion! That will be good. Pleased with the draft, apparently Austin's clause thing was cooked up bc ever since WM-X8 he's been in Texas. Management ain't getting along.

Last night's Raw was about the best show I have seen in months! Let's see in 2 hours we had:
HHH go ballistic on Taker, and finally bringing his trusty "sidekick" out of retirement!!! That was great because you didn't see it coming: "HHH will come out and whip some....no wait, he can't, McMahon drafted him for Smackdown......WHOA!"
Ric Flair: in cahoots with the nWo??? No conclusive evidence either way...but lots of possiblilites!
Heh....Regal blasted "Planet Stasiak with his brass knux...and the ref didn't even CARE!!! :D
4 words from Spike: "BUBBA!!!!!! Get the TABLES!!!! The Dudley Boyz are reborn!
Matt almost takes Lesnar down...but not quite....
And The Big Show! Sadly, I saw that coming a mile away...I never watched WCW much, but I knew "The Giant" was once a nWo member...

A very poor PPV. It was like a bad episode of Sunday Night Heat. It was that bad. It was a decent PPV it, wasn't as good as No Way Out and it really was cemented in as one of the worst PPVs in recent memory when the Austin/Taker match started. Nothing happened and when something did it sucked, the nWo just stood there did nothing, Flair didn't do anything except for that call. Just crap. I could care less what happened afterwords. Which was the Tag Team Championship and Undisputed Championship. HHH should've joined the nWo, kept the belt and there would be a Triple Threat Match at Judgment Day. Bright spots were Lesner, RVD/Eddie and I guess Angle/Edge. RAW was much better but it didn't make up for what happened the night earlier. Why wasn't there a Hardcore match? It needed another match 'cause that was a short PPV and the bad matches went too long.

5: Great Muta vs. Hiroshi Hase
The Great Muta, otherwise known as Keiji Mutoh, is a Japanese superstar who is certainly unafraid of tapping a vein once in awhile, and in this match against fellow star Hiroshi Hase, he outdid himself. After about five minutes, Hase goes face-on into the ringpost and the gore begins. Hase's head begins losing blood like there's no tomorrow. Muta bites at the gash on his head and we are treated to the sight of Muta picking shreds of human flesh out of his teeth! Amazingly enough, Muta would top this effort in 1992, but read on…
1: Great Muta vs. Hiroshi Hase
If you read about the previous Muta/Hase matchup, you should know what to expect here. At about ten minutes in, after your usual in-ring theatrics, Hase getss a chair. Muta counters this by going under the ring and pulling out a knife! Hase realizes that his chair is outclassed by the instrument of carnage in Muta's hands so he steals the knife and spikes it right into the Great Muta's forehead. A gusher erupts from Muta's forehead - and then they wrestle for fifteen more minutes. This match established the "Muta scale" for bleeding, with a bladejob of this level being 1 Muta. Few have achieved this level of depravity again.</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">

Smith had tagged with his son, Harry Smith, last weekend in Brandon, Manitoba and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Smith had been battling drug addiction. including from pain killers. He spent time in hospital last year for major health problems.
Bulldog originally became a major star in the U.S. as part of the British Bulldog tag team with Dynamite Kid. He later became a singles star in the WWF.

I wonder what Foley thinks of HBK's confession. He quoted him as saying "No f'ing way will I accept the belt this way" in his first book. But it does make sense though. If HBK was not in on it, then McMahon would have really been playing with fire - like having both Bret AND Shawn defect and desecrate the title on a WCW show (Vince's rationale for the affair in the first place, according to Foley)....
Hmmmm...I have noticed something...A Pic of Flair in his prime: A lot of tape on his fingers.
Old pic of Big John Studd: His middle and ring fingers rubber-banded together.
Maven cutting a promo on Angle on Smackdown: one of his fingers completely taped.
Photos of HHH: I've noticed a few in which he's wearing a finger splint.
Sooo...to those more familiar to the game than me: how do these guys keep ihurting their fingers???

I don't know why he turned heel. Sure it would be predictable, BUT it would make the WWE's product much better. With RAW's talent drained by long injuries and firings Benoit's destination seems like RAW. But lets think of all the faces.
Austin, RVD, Bubba, Hardys, Spike, Trish and.... Tommy Dreamer?
Undertaker, nWO (which is pretty much five members), Flair, Eddie, Regal, Molly, Brock and all those wrestlers who were Flair's lumberjacks. And Bennoit if he gets traded.
The ladder match is one to remember. But now who does the nWO face? Austin and Bubba are occupied.

HBK in the nwo, good plan, but is anybody else thinking "DX mark 2"? I'm not complaining, I'd like to see that sort of thing. And Benoit's a bad guy now. Hmm, not sure what to make of that. When's Angle going to lose the rug?

I marked so bad when I heard HBK's theme kick in. That was one of the coolest things I've seen on Raw in quite awhile :)
SOunds like I'm gonna have to watch this tonight.
Well I missed it and didn't see much of Smackdown either, so all I know is that tag titles have changed hands (thank God they've ended that story line) and Hogan and Triple H had to battle it out for a title shot. Plus a couple of King of Ring qualifiers. Who's gonna win it this year?

AND I blew my f'ing chance to be in Greenville tomorrow to see what happens next LIVE!!!
Aaaand...HBK! It was great to see his classic entrance! And obviously, his Sweet Chin Music is in good working order - SUCKAAAAA! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> But he's a heel! Oh well, the nWo as babyfaces...that would not be right! Hmmm....someone said it was like DX Mark II anyway...now how cool would it be for the nWo to become the new DX? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> Not gonna happen, but still...
Seeing the Hardyz destroy Taker was sweet!
Man...everything is up in the air! Flair lost, Heyman and Lesnar are cozying up to Vince, where does Austin fit in to this?! And why, oh, why the h@ll did I not try to get SmackDown tickets to find out?!?!?!?!??!? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Unlikely.....but cool!
What? Roster over? Explain, I ain't seen it! Why are the Hardys now only able to attack one guy? That's kind of unfair even if he is as big as Brock or Taker. And a second DX through the NwO? It was obvious really wasn't it? NwO in its true form was never going to work in WWF whereas DX was soooooooooo cool, so put 2 and 2 together and make it work. HHH being in it would make it ultra cool, but everybody seems to be a heel right now, who are the faces?

Hehe I read this over the news..
Stone Cold Steve Austin walks
On March 18, 2002, the day after WrestleMania, without company approval and without notice, Stone Cold Steve Austin walked off the job and failed to appear at WWE?s Raw show in Montreal. Stone Cold Steve Austin was advised by WWE management that this was unprofessional and unacceptable. After a two week hiatus, Austin returned to work.
On Monday, June 10, 2002, Stone Cold Steve Austin again failed to appear for the scheduled Raw event in Atlanta, instead choosing to return home to San Antonio without notice and without company approval.
Although Steve was unhappy with his character?s creative direction, Steve made the personal and unprofessional decision not to report to work to address his concerns.
Therefore, Stone Cold Steve Austin is no longer an active member of WWE?s talent roster.
I can't believe this guy got away with so much.

What’s Up?
As one door closes, another will open. Unfortunately, some of the rumors are true. I have retired from the squared circle, but I have not retired from the WWE. Most of you have read about my injury, which entails my neck (not my back as some reported). My C3 and C4 vertebrae in my neck fused together on their own. I have nerve damage on my right bicep and into my hand, which makes my hand to go numb for periods longer than I care to remember. My C5, C6, and C7 vertebrae qualify to be surgically fused right now. Basically, one doctor said I could return to the ring if I was constantly monitored, but I qualified for the surgery. Another doctor said I should not return to the ring without the surgery. Yet another doctor said, “You’ve had a hell of a run. Now get the hell out of there.” The plain fact of the matter is that if I took one shot the wrong way, I was faced with becoming a quadriplegic for the rest of my life. Knowing all this, I was still rehabbing around the possibility that I would return to the ring.
It was Vince McMahon and J.R. who made the final call that it would be too dangerous for me to return to the ring. I met with J.R. on Tuesday to discuss the situation. If I did have the operation, it would take about a year to rehab. I’d be coming back in my late 40s (47+) only to do more damage to my body. What kind of condition would I be in when I hit my 50s or 60s? I know they are right and I appreciate them thinking of my health in this situation.
I was thinking of talking J.R. into letting me continue until I heard from my attorney who told me that if I got back into the ring my insurance policy holder (Lloyd’s Of London) would terminate my policy. That was the wake-up call. I owe it to my family now to get out of the ring, but it is going to bum me out for awhile now that I know I had finally turned a corner in the WWE and was back on the way to being the Diamond Dallas Page that made people feel the BANG!
What will I do now? J.R. told me that I am part of the WWF family and that there were several places where my services would be needed. I thanked J.R. and let him know that I really needed to step back from the business for a little while. I don’t know how long it will be, but it is going to take a little time. In the meantime, I will do what I have always done and be a positive role for this company. I will speak with the Get Real program (a program that I truly believe in), attend fan functions, and appear at ticket on-sale events. This is just to keep me as part of the WWE family. Like I said, as one door closes, another one will open. My main focus at this point is to become the best motivational speaker I can be.
I want to thank all of my friends and fans who have hung in there with my character as it has run the gauntlet. My favorite time will always be when people called me the “People’s Champion”. That rang true because it was the support of the people that gave me the opportunity to enjoy a ride I never thought was possible. I believed that one day I would be a top guy, but I never thought I would wrestle with Karl Malone or be on the Tonight Show or be in movies…and I sure as hell never thought I would ever be a three-time World Champion…but I dreamt about it. Your support helped my dreams come true and I have never forgotten that, nor will I ever forget it. Just remember… you may have loved me, you may have hated me, but I will never forget you.
It’s been MY pleasure… Page
P.S. – It ain’t over. You’ll be hearing from me…and that’s a good thing.
A good thing indeed! Feel the BANG!!!
No, that's a bad thing. J/k, Page has had some funny moments, though done nothing special for the WWF (I'm nostalgic, I refuse to get the f out).
When is the KoR? I ain't seen any programming in a couple weeks even though I want to.
Update
It seems Austin quit the WWE because of bad storylines.

Looks like they were just trying to throw in Austin's face that the company has plenty of other big stars besides him - like the Rock! Myself, I thought they would try to downplay the situation (like they dis with Hall), but instead, they are milking it for all it's worth...and in light of the situation with Debra, that may not be wise...
It seems that the real Steve Williams may be more unstable than Stone Cold at his worst.....

Here's a theory:
Kane is on his way back to WWE!!! On Raw, X-Pac was attacked, and taken out of the match between Booker T, and Goldust/X-Pac, and the Big Show(of course, earlier on, Kevin Nash took Goldust out).
Now, my point is: when X-Pac was taken out, everyone assumed that Booker T took him out, but no one actually saw it happen.
The reason I say it might have been Kane is this: according to the storyline, Kane has a beef with the nWo, and X-Pac was the one who pulled Kane's mask off, and set him up to get beat down by the nWo.

Chris Irvine is Mongoose McQueen. That's another great character. He (Chris as Mongoose) and some other WWF stars were on a Canadian talk show (its like Politcally Incorrect but it deals with sports topics) and it was very entertaining.
WWE.com reports that Nash will have surgery today and then they'll be able to find out how long he'll be gone. At first I thought it was fake just so the ref could be distracted but it just didn't seem fake.
But I have to agree with the Angle/Austin thing that looked incrediblely real especially with Jericho and Jeff Hardy in the back talking to him.

I think that HBK, as well as everyone else should be applauded for their handling of the situation. The show must go on, and go on it did - so well that it was darn near impossible to tell if it was real or a work!
Poor Kev...:( :( :( :( He was not one of my faves, but he was entertaining (to Darth Goldust: "You're his father, but I'm YOUR daddy!" *WHACK* :) ), and no one deserves a massive injury like that - especially coming off another one!

Shouldn't the name of this thread be changed to Go WWE! now?

NO! :p
Ask the guy who started it - ironically, a guy that don't really care for wrestling a whole lot!

Russo is now with NWA-TNA. I've seen some matches, some are alright. But I think in the end this one will fail.
I have a theory that Nash wants the most money for the least amount of work. This link helps.

It does seem that way, doesn't it. The whole time he has been in the WWE he seems to be injured. Have they got one match out of him at all?

Maybe one or two but they were two man or three man tag team matches.
Who's Russo? Can't be arsed to go back a page and ain't seen any wwf for ages (since K of R) so what's goin on?

Well I'm not a big fan of The Rock, but he's stated he will stay (unlike Steve Austin) he will always be with the WWE no matter what. He knows he will do films but he'll return for awhile anyways.
Vince Russo was a head writer in the late 90s who wrote for WWF and came up with some great stuff. Then he jumped over to WCW and well that of course didn't turn out well. Russo was supposed to write a tell all book about the WWF and the behind the scenes stuff. Apparently Vince didn't like this. Anyway a few weeks back Russo was hired again this time as a writer then just a consultant. His ideas nobody liked so I guess he quit and went with NWA. If NWA is around this time next year it will be a miracle.
Everybody jumped to WCW for a while though didn't they. And it still sucked and fell through though didn't it! Hahahahaha!

(fake)blood dumped all over him. That was Russo's idea.

Yeah, the blood dumping thing in WCW became Vampiro's thing, because they did it to Sting too.

Only caught last half hour and I've only paid attention to WWF for the last two years. I've heard of Eric but depending on how they did the entrance I'm not shocked like I was with Shane's purchase of WCW and Stephanie's ECW purchase.
Smackdown GM? Who could that be? Brock better lose this weekend.

Speaking of not shocked, I came in late, and when they were talking about a GM (before Bisch came out), I thought of Eric right away, as rumors have been floating for a while about it...

I like Bischoff and think he was a good choice. The nWo is dead for good I believe, but something tells me DX will return soon. I thought the actual matches were weak as hell this week

Looks like Austin got out of WWE just in time. How ironic that the WWE hired the same man that fired Austin from WCW several years ago!!!
