An adopted child leaves his farm home when he becomes an adult in search of his... hmm, they never really said what he was looking for... his destiny (?) after hearing music that he finally can tap his feet to.

After some hitchhiking, he gets a job at a gas station where he is attacked by a crazed gunman. He flees and finds a job at a circus. Here, he meets the love of his life.

He gets ultra-rich through a twist of fate, and becomes a jerk... no longer the naive guy he once was. Fortunes come and go, and he is soon broke, and left in the alleys as a bum.

There, his family finds him and they live happily ever after in their 'renovated' farmhouse.

In the middle of a war-torn city, a little girl runs into a theatre to watch a local production of a local legend who has to be fiction... How could someone live through those incredibly tall tales that this figure has?

Suddenly, an old man barges into the room, waving his sword, and demanding that the cast stop making this travesty. He announces that he is the real deal. He IS the man whose life they were portraying.

We then follow this elderly gentleman as he retraces his adventures from his youth, all the while being pursued by a cloaked skeleton wielding a scythe.

After the 'play' is brought up to the present, we then follow the gentleman as he brings the little girl along with him for his final adventure.

All hell breaks loose when the president passes. A team of would-be assassins arrive in the town as well, and forcefully take up residence with a family.
The house that the family live in overlooks the hill from which the president's 'carriage' will be passing, and so the assassins trick their way into the house, lying to the patriach and claiming that they work for the President.
Basically, the rest of the movie pretty much is contained to the inside of the house.

Hint: One of the main actor's in this movie is also a very, very, very famous entertainer.

New Plot:

A mentally challenged servant, whose boss he has presumably served since he was born, one day finds that his boss has passed away. It should be noted at this point that the only world this servant has known till this point is the mansion and the gardens of his boss. With his boss deceased, he is promptly 'evicted' from the premises, and finds himself in a strange new world... New York City.

There, he takes a while to enjoy television (the tv being in a storefront, and our protagonist is on the street), and while distracted, gets hit by a car. A lady gets out, insists on taking him home to get him cleaned up to avoid any legal complications, and in the process, finds the mentally challenged servant to be 'insightful', so much so that this eventually leads him on the road to presidency.
