Neverending

I finally got around to watching it. I know. I know. I'm super late. Regardless....I loved it. What took it from good to great was the final scenes when Gyllenhaal's character takes over.

I thought it was hands down the best film of last year, and probably the last five. I was ridiculously impressed by it, needless to say.

Haven't seen it, I'm not really impressed with horror movies(minus American Psycho) but I did hear Robert Downey Jr was good in it, so one day when it lands on HBO, I might just watch it.

Zodiac isn't a horror movie, so that shouldn't be a problem.

YEAHHAHAY! Its not a horror movie, It's got the damn Zodiac guy in it. Dude freaks the crap out of me. Its a thriller isn't it. Man, Zodiac is on my list for movies to see now, right next to Memento!!I got to watch out when I go to Best Buy next.

It's a crime drama more than anything else.

And Memento is great too.

I watched it for the first time last friday. I was very impressed by it and enjoyed it very much. Shame it didn't get the recognition it deserves. The Zodiac case is just so fascinating and interesting. Fincher really pulled it off

Yeah, I was reading about it. Sounds like a film I need to see. I remember last Christmas we picked up a special edition one for my Uncle and I read the back of it and was curious by it. I'll just have to keep my eyes open for movies.

I concur with it being the best movie of 2007. It's one of those movies I watched that I only expected to get me through my friday night and ended up finding it fantastic.

I gave it an 8. It was certainly interesting, but I didn't like how the beginning of it was so exciting and the rest of it just slowed to a crawl. He was an interesting serial killer, though not in his methods (in terms of killing), and I guess that it's tough to shine past Silence of the Lambs or Se7en. Fincher did a great job though, and the basement scene was one of the creepiest scenes I've seen in a long time.

i watched it a couple of times now and it seems to get better each time. when i first rented it i wasnt really that into it but the other day it came on tv and i watched it and loved it. i have a question though. what was up with the scene with wallace penny in the basement? to me it seemed like he was the zodiac, having a basement writing the posters and yet the scene just ends. also what was up with someone up stairs? that whole scene just threw me off. i would appreciate it if someone could help me out...thanks

First time I saw a stabbing on the screen and felt it.

Yeah, and all they had to do was put down the camera and leave it alone.

"You know what will make this movie more scary!? MORE CUTS AND ANGLES!! The idea behind realism is letting people know there's a camera, right? Or was it the other way around..."

Hopefully you have Showtime since they exclusively premiered it last week. ;) I have TMC so I'll probably catch it when it airs on that network in a few months.

They've basically been the exclusive home for Paramount except for Dreamworks (HBO owns rights to them) for a decade although they don't get the rights to the post 07 movies. Some new future pay network created by Viacom will air Iron Man and Cloverfield instead.

For those who have it, is the director's cut worth getting? If it weren't for the DC, I would have bought it since non DC is on sale for $9.99 (previously viewed) at my college bookstore.
