what do you think of Battlestar Galactica???

ok, ive never seen this show, but ive heard a lot of good things about it and im really thinking about getting into it.. since there really arent any other good shows on that i want to check out... what do you guys think?


firstly.. i went to download the first 2 episodes, just so id have them ready.. and what i noticed is that there was a 3hr "mini series" first.. and after that is when the official series began... did everyone here watch the 3hr mini series? or did ya'll just jump right into the episodes? let me know what's good...


i want to know what everyone's opinions on the show is because, truthfully.. im not a big fan of "space" type shows... like, Star Trek, ive ALWAYS hated that show... is it like that? or it is better?!
