not sure if this has been done before or not, if it has I apologize. With 9/11 coming and going again, I thought it would be cool to list some movies that had the World Trade Center in them. You can list your movie and simply put a Part of Movie next to the title or just a Seen in Movie. So here are a couple...

Escape from New York...Part of Movie
King Kong.....Part of Movie
The Family Man......Seen in Movie
X-Men....Seen in Movie
American Pie 2....Seen in Movie

I'd say nearly any movie that took place in New York in the 70's to 2001 that featured a shot of the skylline probably had the World Trade Center in it in some capacity. Honestly, I don't consider it to be that remarkable.

Yeah, true. The only thing I found remotely interesting was watching new films just post to 9/11 that still had the WTC in them. It made the short scenes in which they were showed a little odd because you knew that they were already gone by then, but the film still had shots of them in it. That's about it though.

The most noteworthy post-9/11 WTC shots I can think of were in Gangs of New York and Munich.

In the Gangs of New York shot, which is at the end where the skyline is shown being built up through the ages the WTC is deliberately left standing as a tribute to the enginuity of New York

Munich on the other hand slyly has the WTC standing in the backgound of the final confrontation as a reminder of the implication terror will have on future events and as a coda to the film's overall message that violence begets violence.

That was the first movie to really deal with 9/11 in any substantial way, if nothing else it will remain a unique document of the post-9/11 mentality forever.

Even though the film was released in 1998, the shot of the World Trade Center after the opening meteor attack in Armageddon is really chilling because it looks almost exactly like it did after the planes hit on 9/11.

But yeah, the final shot in Munich is also unforgettable for the very reason Dracula said. Just a really powerful shot.

I got the Spider-Man trailer reel with the WTC in it. I got it when I worked at the theater when the first one came out, before they recalled them all.
