BLOOD TIES
Not the Oscars we know, but... our little desktop budget dv film beat out over 1500 films - some in the 3-7 million dollar range - to be chosen at the Action On Film Festival as the 2007 "Action Film of the Year".
Shot with a maximum crew of three and complete post including effects and music by one, we still were able to shoot in Thailand and Cambodia, DC, Miami, Virginia, and Atlanta.
We just screened at the Bangkok FIlm Festival and Film Market to rave reviews (and more importantly - distribution deals) Next up - The Rome International Film Festival...
Distribution contracts are on the table and I am negotiating a theatrical release for India as well as US domestic rights.
