The Departed & State of Mind?

I was just thinking about how psychiatrists must have pretty crazy lives... maybe not as crazy as Ann's on Lifetime's show State of Mind but so far in a lot of television shows and movies that I have seen they have all been similarly depicted. The psychiatrist in that movie The Departed reminds me a lot of Ann. Non-fiction or fiction... these characters have to somewhat be based on truth.

Any fans?

pretty much anyone in any type of job seems to have a crazy life, on t.v. that is. Doctors, layers, cops, phyciatrists... they exagerate them all.

I just checked out what I guess is the most recent episode (re-run) of State of Mind. I'll be honest, I was never really a big Lifetime fan, but Lili Taylor is amazing in this show. You might recognize her from Six Feet Under or a whole slew of movies she's been in. I think this is her best role yet. Actually reminds me of my psychiatrist, haha! I need to catch the episodes I missed though.

State of Mind... good show. I can't watch it on Sundays but I always miss the re-runs! AGH!
