First of all, I wanna say Hi to you all, cause i'm new around here :)

As the title says, I'm looking for a movie, probably made in 80's, maybe a bit later, which tells us the true (!) storie of a West Germany boy (boys?) who began hacking and accidentally accessed WG's Internal Security mainframe. Afterwards the Stasi located him/them and he started working for them, etc... I do not know the precise details, cause my brother told me of it, and added that movie was really well made, they use original hacker's sleng, no Hoolywood BS and space invaders, but simple, couter-espionage acion with hackes (old style). If anyone of you had ever seen this movie, please tell me the name of it, so I may find it.

Thanx a lot pals.

Demios.

well i did a different search instead of 80's hacker movies.. I did German Hackers Movie and I came up with this.

23 (1998)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0126765/
The movie's plot is based on the true story of a group of young computer hackers from Hannover, Germany. In the late 1980s the orphaned Karl Koch invests his heritage in a flat and a home computer. At first he dials up to bulletin boards to discuss conspiracy theories inspired by his favorite novel, R.A. Wilson's "Illuminatus", but soon he and his friend David start breaking into government and military computers. Pepe, one of Karl's rather criminal acquaintances senses that there is money in computer cracking - he travels to east Berlin and tries to contact the KGB.
