The man has never lived up to Ferris Bueller...has he? It's sad to say it but Ferris Bueller was his best performance and movie. And, that was 20 years ago. Nothing has come close to it. Unless you wanna count The Lion King and (maybe) The Producers.

Check out Glory, one of the best movies I've seen, vastly underrated war movie.

That's right! I forgot about Election and Glory. Both were great movies! But...let's face it! The man will always be Ferris Bueller.

The producers rocks!!!!! he was ok in it but not as good as Gene Wilder in it.
But in my opinion Nathan Lane was better than Zero Mostel

I think he sucks, hasnt done a good film sinse ferris. He still loks about 15 and has a whiney voice, i cant really take him seriously. Lee Evans shoulda got his role in The Producers IMO.

FBDO is my favorite movie.
I agree that most of his movies are crap especially Godzilla. The Freshman and Election are the only ones of his I've seen that are good.
i haven't seen his new christmas one yet, but it looks terrible as well. FBDO is amazing and one of my favorites. Glory, election, producers, and Freshman were ok. but i hated that computer movie, inspector gadget, godzilla, and the last shot. i also never really got into the cable guy or stepford wives either.

You mean WarGames? That movie rocked! And, the one with the monkey was pretty cool too. Broderick made most of his best films in the `80s. In the `90s and 2000s he's only made like two or three good movies. So, yeah, its kinda disappointing. He is Ferris Bueller after all. You'd expect better from him.
yeah, wargames. i just did not llike that movie. that came out before ferris bueller i think too. or around the same time.
I got nothing against Broderick. He's not a bad actor at all. I suppose he doesn't get good roles like you guys say. I liked Wargames. Great movie of the 80's. And it's criminal that I still haven't seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off yet. Godzilla was fairly lame as was Inspector Gadget. Still haven't seen the Producers either.
Oh well he's still married to Sarah Jessica Parker I suppose. :)
damn, that is a crime. You have to see it ASAP haha.

But, he's always been a star on the stage. Nothing new there. It's on the cinema that he needs to start focusing. Ferris Bueller and Glory are the ONLY great movies that he has done.
