George Lucas is Loser!

I really cannot believe that because of one bearded individual, Indiana Jones 4 is STILL on hold. Spielberg liked the script, it was done by a well-known good writer but some because of some guy who thought up Star Wars, the film can't be made.
I am one of the very few unfortunately who thinks Lucas is over-hyped. Empire Strikes Back was the best star wars film and he did not direct it. All the recent Star Wars films have been utter garbage. So why oh why, should this guy have any say in what is greenlighted or not? He's not even directing the movie!
Please let this Indy 4 be made, and let Lucas shut his mouth! He probably wants Indy to fight some green-faced guys with shiny swords and robes!

While I do agree with you about Lucas, and I did love the three Indy movies, I'm hestitant about Indy IV. I'm afraid Harrison Ford is too old to pull it off. I personally loved the short-lived television show, Young Indiana Jones, and I think taking the franchise in that direction would be more enjoyable, for me at least.

Um, I dont think George Lucas is a loser.
But I also dont think that we need another Indy. That trilogy is perfect as it is.

It still makes me angry that Lucas rejected Darabont's script when Ford and Spielberg gave it a thumbs up. George really must have lost it. :(

I thought we figured this out when he wrote the words "Jar Jar Binks" down in a script. Or maybe when he said "Hmm. This Howard the Duck project is promising!" My personal favorite George is a Loser moment was when he decided Star Wars needed a Christmas special. Happy Life Day!
