Hey everyone,

I have an assignment due for a class of mine and I have to provide examples of certain forms of communication from movies. Sounds fun, but here's a problem...I don't watch very many movies!

If anybody here has any suggestions, it would be highly appreciated. I have to find examples of these two communication concepts in a movie. It doesn't matter what movie it is, as long as it's clean for the most part.

1) "Regulative and Consitutive Rules guiding communication."
---What this means: There are (unset) rules about communicating to others...example, you don't call you parents by their name 'Jack', you call them my mom, dad, etc. I need something breaking that unsaid rule. Other example, at school wouldn't want to refer to teachers as Craig...but Mr. Williams, or whatever! Basically kids disrepecting people in authority.

2) "Ineffective Listening"
EXAMPLES:
*Pseudolistening (pretending to listen, but not really)
*Monopolozing (when somebody is talking, you keep bringing the conversation back to you)
*Ambusing (listening just for the purpose of attacking the speaker)
*Defensive listening (when one is waiting for someone to attack them)
*Selective (focusing on only certain parts of the conversation)

Any help would be much appreciated!!!!
