Recast Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

I've noticed that while reading the novel, I formed quite a distinct impression of who should have played the characters, and the movie's interpretation was thus ruined!

Anyone else care to share their thoughts on their perfect cast?

The cast that I imagined:

Arthur Dent - Hugh Grant
Ford Prefect - Steve Martin
Zaphod Beeblebrox - Martin Short
Trillian - ?
Marvin - Anthony Daniels
Slartibartfast - Morgan Freeman
and
John Cleese as The Guide!

Ok, maybe Anthony Daniels and Morgan Freeman are somewhat cliched choices, but still... I personally think Steve Martin would have made the ultimate Ford Prefect!
