Ain't It Cool has the poster for the remake of The Wicker Man, starring Nicolas Cage.

OK poster, though it doesn't really strike me as "wicker man". Could be any modern horror movie, really.
I can't believe they're remaking this. It will likely be really bad. Look at the original - you just can't make a movie like that anymore. Will Nic Cage escape the clutches of Lord Summerisle in this one (who will likely be played by someone like Richard Roxburgh or something, damn it all, destroying another great chris lee character)? You can pretty much guarantee there'll be no Willow scene. You know the one I'm talkin' about. And the Christian/pagan stuff won't be as hilarioust this time around. You just can't take the piss out of Christianity nowadays without being lynched by half a million rampaging born-again (zombies?) Christians who denounce you for pointing out that, you know, it's too dangerous to jump through fire with your clothes on. I loved that aspect of the original and it's not likely to get as much time in the remake. And quite frankly, the horror-classic remake thing has gone too far. What's next - an Evil Dead remake? Oh, wait...
