It's a sad commentary on the prequels, but the simple fact that he didn't have an annoyingly comedic voice made me like him (same with the medical droid at the end of the film.) After Nute Gunray, the battle droids, Jar-Jar, etc, it was good to hear CGI characters that just talk normally.

He was both. He was CG and Makeup. I belive his mouth was CGed in while the rest was a mask...on the wonderful bruce spence.

I liked Max Rebo from the Max Rebo Band in ROTJ .
He is the blue (somekind of tiny elephant) creature playing the keyboards in Jabba the Hutts pallace .
Really funny little creature .
And of course the Huge frog outside of Jabba the Hutt pallace !!! Now that was really funny to look !!!

No, twi-leks are the ones with the two head tails, the same species as Aayla Secura and Bib Fortuna (Jabbas henchman in ROTJ). It seems the females are all attractive and skimpily dressed and the males are always hideously repulsive.
